Metal Shields (ZZ or 2Z) - Bearings fitted with steel shields and lubricated .
Rubber Seals (2RS,) - Bearings fitted with steel reinforced rubber contact seals which provide a better seal but add friction so are unsuitable for high speed applications, lubricated
