Characteristics and performance of spherical bearings

The spherical bearing is composed of a spherical contact surface, consisting of an inner ring of an outer sphere and an outer ring of an inner sphere. Spherical bearings are mainly suitable for sliding bearings for oscillating motion, inclined motion and low-speed rotary motion.

As long as the spherical bearings are: angular contact spherical bearings, thrust spherical bearings, radial spherical bearings, and stalk end spherical bearings. The classification of spherical bearings is mainly based on the direction of the load they can bear, the nominal contact angle and the structural type.

What are the characteristics of radial spherical bearings

1.GE... Type E Single outer ring, no lubricating oil groove. It can withstand radial loads and small axial loads in either direction.

2.GE... Type ES Single-slit outer ring with lubricating oil groove. It can withstand radial loads and small axial loads in either direction.

3.GE... ES-2RS Single-slit outer ring with lubricating oil groove and sealing rings on both sides. It can withstand radial loads and small axial loads in either direction.

4.GEEW... ES-2RS Single-slit outer ring with lubricating oil groove and sealing rings on both sides. It can withstand radial loads and small axial loads in either direction.

5.GE... ESN type

Single-slit outer ring with lubricating oil groove and outer ring with stop groove. It can withstand radial loads and small axial loads in either direction. However, when the axial load is borne by the stop ring, its ability to bear the axial load is reduced.

6.GE... XSN type

Double-slit outer ring (split outer ring) with lubricating oil groove and outer ring with detent groove. It can withstand radial loads and small axial loads in either direction. However, when the axial load is borne by the stop ring, its ability to bear the axial load is reduced.

7.GE... HS type has an inner ring with a lubricating oil groove and a double half outer ring, and the clearance can be adjusted after wear. It can withstand radial loads and small axial loads in either direction.

8.GE... Type DE1

The inner ring is hardened bearing steel and the outer ring is bearing steel. Extruded when the inner ring is assembled, it has a lube groove and oil holes. Bearings with an inner diameter of less than 15 mm have no lubricating oil grooves and oil holes. It can withstand radial loads and small axial loads in either direction.

9.GE... DEM1 type

The inner ring is hardened bearing steel and the outer ring is bearing steel. Extrusion is formed during the assembly of the inner ring, and after the bearing is installed in the housing, the end groove is pressed out on the outer ring to fix the bearing axially. It can withstand radial loads and small axial loads in either direction.

10.GE... DS type

The outer ring has an assembly groove and a lubrication groove. Limited to large size bearings. It can withstand radial loads and small axial loads in either direction (the assembly groove side cannot bear axial loads).

Performance of angular contact spherical bearings

11.GAC... The inner and outer rings of the S type are hardened bearing steel, and the outer ring has oil grooves and oil holes. It can withstand radial loads and axial (combined) loads in one direction.

Features of thrust spherical bearings

12. GX... The S-type shaft and housing are made of hardened bearing steel, and the housing ring has oil grooves and oil holes. It can bear the axial load or combined load in one direction (the radial load value shall not be greater than 0.5 times of the axial load value at this time).
