Characteristics of the structure of the bearing part

As an indispensable and important component in mechanical products, bearings play an important role in supporting rotating shafts

Please check below the bearing part:

1. Raceway

The surface of the load-bearing part of the rolling bearing is used as the rolling track of the rolling element.

2. Straight raceway

A raceway in a straight line in a plane perpendicular to the direction of rolling.

3. Crowned raceway

Basic cylindrical {TodayHot} or conical raceways with a continuous micro-convex curve in a plane perpendicular to the rolling direction to prevent stress concentrations at the contact between the rollers and the raceway.

4. Spherical raceway

The raceway is part of the surface of the ball.

5. Raceway Groove

The raceways of ball bearings are grooved, usually in an arc-shaped cross-section, with a radius slightly larger than the radius of the ball.

6. (groove) shoulder (groove) shoulder

The side of the groove (roll) channel.

7. Clam rib

A narrow shoulder that protrudes from the raceway surface parallel to the direction of rolling. It is used to support and guide the rolling elements and keep them in the bearing.

8. Guide the surface of the cage riding land

The cylindrical surface of the bearing rings and washers is used to guide the cage radially.

9. Ring(washer) face

The surface of the ferrule (washer) perpendicular to the axis of the ferrule (washer).

10. bearing bore {HotTag}

The bore of the inner ring or shaft washer of a rolling bearing.

11. Cylindrical bore

The inner bore of the bearing or bearing parts is basically straight and parallel to the bearing axis or bearing part axis.

12. Tapered bore

The inner bore of a bearing or bearing part is basically a straight line and intersects with the bearing axis or the bearing part axis.

13. Bearing outside surface

The outer surface of the outer ring or housing ring of a rolling bearing.

14. Ferrule (washer) chamfer

The surface of the ring (washer) where the inner or outer surface of the bearing is connected to one end face of the ring.

15. Grinding undercut

A groove or groove made at the root of the flange or flange of the bearing ring or bearing washer to facilitate grinding.

16. Sealing(conract) surface

The surface that is in sliding contact with the seal.

17. Seal(shield)groove

The groove used to hold the bearing seal (shield).

18. Snap Ring Groove

The slot used to hold the stop ring.

19. Lubrication groove

A groove used on a bearing part to convey lubricant.

20. Lubrication hole

On bearing parts, holes used to deliver lubricant to rolling elements.
