Introduction to the product name of bearing steel

Bearing steel is used to make balls, rollers and bearing rings. Bearing steel has high and uniform hardness and wear resistance, as well as high elastic limit. The uniformity of the chemical composition of bearing steel, the content and distribution of non-metallic inclusions, and the distribution of carbides are very strict. It is one of the most stringent steel grades in all steel production.

Common product names for bearing steels include GCr15, AISI52100, SUJ2, etc.

1. GCr15

GCr15 is an alloy steel with high hardness, good wear resistance and excellent high temperature resistance. Its main components are Cr, Mn, Si, W, Mo, V and other elements. GCr15 steel is often used to manufacture high-quality parts such as high-precision bearings, gears, universal joints, and automobile engines. It is widely used in the machinery manufacturing industry.

II. AISI52100

AISI52100 is a type of high-carbon chromium steel, also known as high-carbon chromium alloy steel. Its main components are elements such as Cr, C, Si, Mn, P, and S. AISI52100 has high strength, high hardness and excellent wear resistance, and is widely used in the manufacture of high-quality parts such as bearings, reducers, gears, etc.

3. SUJ2

SUJ2 is a Japan industrial standard bearing steel, also known as SUJ2 steel in JIS G 4805. Its main components are elements such as Cr, Mo, C, Si, and Mn. SUJ2 steel has high hardness, high wear resistance and high load-bearing capacity, and is widely used in the manufacture of high-precision bearings, gears, universal joints, automobile engines and other parts.

Among the above three types of bearing steel, GCr15 is the most widely used one in China, because it has the advantages of moderate price, good processing performance and high wear resistance; AISI52100 is the commonly used bearing steel in United States because of its mature manufacturing process and reliable quality; SUJ2 is a bearing steel commonly used in Japan because of its stable performance, high precision and long life.
