Reducer bearing standard installation and common problems
The reducer is a kind of rotating equipment, and the bearing plays a very important role in the rotation of the equipment, so the installation and testing of the bearing are very important when the reducer is in use. In the process of use, some common problems of reducer bearings are also problems related to everyone, and the following shares the standard installation of relevant reducer bearings and some common problems
Standard installation of reducer bearings:
1. The new bearing should be calibrated to the model, the surface inspection, and the radial clearance measurement should meet the requirements, and after being cleaned with kerosene, it should be heated to 80~100 °C with mechanical oil, and kept at this temperature for 30 minutes.
2. Install the bearing (the model should be facing the outside) and hit the inner ring with a copper rod, close to the shaft shoulder, without clearance, and shall not be loosened. After the bearing is cooled, the bearing should rotate flexibly by hand, and the cage should work normally, rotate smoothly without impact sound. When assembling, pay close attention to the assembly sequence of each part to avoid misassembly or forgetting.
3. The limit value of the temperature of the rotating bearing: 80 °C for the rolling bearing and 65 °C for the sliding bearing. The rolling bearing of the motor is 100°C. The plain bearing is 80°C.
Some common problems and failures of reducer bearings
1. Why should the bearing have thrust clearance and expansion clearance?
Metal materials have the property of thermal expansion and cold contraction, and when the shaft works under different temperature conditions, the length and diameter of the shaft will also change. Therefore, in order to ensure that the thrust bearing forms a pressure oil film, there must be a thrust clearance.
In order to ensure that the shaft is not hindered or restricted in the process of expansion, great stress is generated, and the bearing is damaged, and there must be an expansion gap.
2. What is the harm of the bearing oil level being too low or too high?
A oil level is too high, will increase the resistance of the oil ring movement and slip or stop, the mutual friction of oil molecules will increase the temperature of the bearing, increase the oil leakage at the gap and the friction power loss of the oil.
If the oil level is too low, the ball or oil ring of the bearing will not be able to carry oil, resulting in the temperature of the bearing being lubricated and the bearing burning out.
Common faults of reducers and bearings
1) The new wheel box heats up
2) The gearbox is noisy
3) Gearbox oil leakage
