What are the bearing accessories?

Bearings are an indispensable part of mechanical equipment parts, and the accessories of bearings are also an indispensable part of bearings. According to the understanding of bearing knowledge, the bearing accessories mainly include: adapter sleeve, withdrawal sleeve, lock nut, pin tightening device, bearing seat, thrust ring, etc.

 

Adapter sleeve

Adapter sleeve: Adapter sleeve is the most commonly used component for positioning bearings with tapered bore on cylindrical shafts, as they can be used for optical or stepped shafts. The adapter sleeve consists of a set bushing, a lock nut, and a locking device, which is used to fix the tapered bore bearing to the cylindrical shaft. The adapter sleeve is used to fix the tapered bore spherical bearing (spherical ball bearing, spherical roller bearing) on the shaftless shoulder shaft, which is simple in structure, reliable in operation, convenient for bearing replacement, and widely used in textile, light industry, papermaking, metallurgy, belt transportation and conveying equipment and other industries.

 

Withdrawal sleeve

Withdrawal sleeve: It is also used to fix the tapered bore bearing to the cylindrical shaft. The use of adapter sleeves and withdrawal sleeves helps to facilitate the assembly and disassembly of bearings and simplifies the design of bearing arrangements. The withdrawal sleeve is installed at the end of the shaft, and the tapered bore bearings (spherical ball bearings, spherical roller bearings, double-row cylindrical roller bearings) with large specifications are particularly convenient for assembly and maintenance, and are widely used in light industry, metallurgy, rolling mills and other mechanical equipment.

 

Lock nuts

Lock nuts: used to secure bearings to shafts or adapter sleeves, and can also be used to mount and remove bearings on withdrawal sleeves or tapered shafts. Lock nut is a kind of nut widely used in machinery and other industries, and its working principle is to use the friction between the nut and the bolt for self-locking. However, in dynamic loads, the reliability of this self-locking is reduced. In some important occasions, we will take some anti-loosening measures to ensure the reliability of nut locking.

 

Pin tightening device

Pin tightening device: consists of a lock washer, a lock clamp and a screw that fixes the lock lock card to the nut, the smaller lock nut is fixed by the lock washer, and the lock clamp embedded in the lock nut groove is used to fix the larger lock nut.

 

Bearing housings

Bearing housing: The bearing housing and the spherical bearing form an economical and interchangeable bearing unit, which meets the requirements of easy maintenance and is used in the conveying system and transmission mechanism. Slewing plate bearing housing is a kind of large and extra-large bearing housing that can accept comprehensive load and special structure, which has the characteristics of compact structure, sensitive rotation and convenient device maintenance. Where there is a bearing, there must be a support point, the inner support point of the bearing is the shaft, and the external support is the bearing seat that is often said.

 

Thrust rings

Thrust rings: used for fixing the bearing in the housing. Thrust ring semi-circular annular piece, one side is covered with anti-friction alloy, and there is a convex tail on the outside of the middle of the lower piece of the thrust ring, which is embedded in the bearing cover groove during installation to prevent the thrust ring from rotating.
