Pressed steel housings are made from mild steel strip and are zinc plated. These units provide simple and effective bearing arrangements capable of accommodating moderate misalignment from mounting errors. They are easily mounted onto commercial shafting and are particularly useful where fabricated machine frames are employed.
The SBPP200 bearing with pressed steel housing consists of a lightweight insert bearing and a pedestal which is made of steel plate through stamping process. With a pillow block housing, this bearing unit is designed for light load.

SBPP208 Pressed Steel Pillow Block are capable of aligning themselves efficiently using the spherical fitting surface between the bearing and housing, effectively preventing overloads due to misalignment. Features include; Lightweight unit for applications with low rotating speed or light load, Set screw locking, Zinc-plated housing, Narrow inner ring bearing, Full cover metal-shroud seals.
